Sweet and Sassy Birthday Invites

I made my daughter's birthday invites today and got her approval (off the first sample, thank god! LOL!) and this is what I came up with!

Raspberry Fizz Perfect Match Cardstock for Large Scallop Circle

True Black Perfect Match Cardstock for Medium Scallop Circle

Stamper's Select White Cardstock for the Banner and Circle Tag

INK:

Colorbox - Raspberry

SU - Basic Black

ADHESIVE:

Tombo Permanent Adhesive Runner

SU - Stampin' Dimensionals

I'm really happy with the way the card came out, and inspires me to make different cards for different occasions with other color combos.  Although I do have to say - I love the Raspberry Fizz and True Black combo!!!  Now I'm off to find out who has a sale on adhesive (Michaels or Joanns - fortunate to have both in my town) because I don't have enough to finish her invites! OM Gosh the new goodies coming to PTI!!

I was just on Nichole's blog and saw more of the sneak peeks for November's release!!!  They are way too cute!

Got my second PTI order!!

Now it's time to start creating again!  Got my second order from PTI!  I still have a very large wish list ahead of me, and the new releases this month - makes it even harder! But that's a good thing right??  Going to spend this weekend organizing all my goodies and get some card making done!!  Still trying to sell off all the rest of my SU items so that I can invest in ribbons, cardstock and more buttons. OH yeah, and more stamps, lol!  I also want to get some of the Copic markers!  I'm hooked on them!  I purchased some used ones from another stamper on SCS (Thanks Deidra!) and now I want the lot!! But I guess a few at a time will do.  Till then, I have my SU! markers to help me out! :)

Got my first PTI order - FINALLY!!! :)

After placing my first order a couple weeks ago, it finally arrived on Friday.  I was panicked the post office would send it back since it had my physical address on it, and we only have PO Boxes in town. But it arrived and I got it safe and sound.  I put my cardstock sampler away and put the multi-color button mixes (all three that they carry) on one of my shelves.  I already have two PTI stamp sets that I bought used from someone on the forums, so I'm at a good start. 

Order #2 comes in on Monday, lots more cardstock and six of their $5 stamp sets as well as a few patterned paper sets.  I can't wait till that comes then I can start designing again!!!  It's such a pain to change vendors and leave yourself with nothing until your new stuff arrives. Talk about withdrawals!! LOL!
